I wonder if anyone have encountered this prob.

I've a edit box with properties set to
controlsource - bind to a memo field
read only - set to .t.
enabled - set to .t.

The timer interval is set to 1000 (1sec) & the timer event will start a countdown. when 0 is reached, program terminates.

OK the problem.
when the form runs with the timer enabled. scrolling of the edit box will become erratic, inother words scrolling seems impossible.

Any answers??
