Yes, I had a problem like that.
VFP data on a server accessed with local views (also tables with > 100,000 records); client-PC with their own Exe+Runtime.
Tried variuos ways, also monitored with Filemon.
The solution? SQL Server as back-end accessed with remote views . No more delay in displaying menus!
