I'm looking for a free (or share) network analysing tool, I mean a utility to tune my network.

Not a diagnostic program, I've got one, but I need to know how many packets are transmitted from and to the TCPIP server. And I also want to collect information about my profiles towards the NT server.

I've found one, NetLab, but it has a bug...

The trouble is my computer connexion is slow, whereas my neighboor's (on the same cable) is fast, both computers and adapters (NE 2000 Antherm) are identicals...

Or, if you know, is there a mean to limit a user in its connexions to a NT server 4.0 ? I can't reach the network administrator at the moment.
