>>>>>Ok. Here's another moral inversion for you. You frequent "adult" clubs. I would regard those as prostitution and you use of those clubs is a support to that. You now have a daughter , how would you feel if she was gyrating around on a pole and maybe doing a little extra in 16 or 17 years.
>>>>>
>>>>>I see that little hiatus hasn't done much for your conclusions - prostitution is all about sex acts for $$$. If you want to expand the definition to include support for "unworthy" causes, I'll certainly be happy to explore that conversation.
>>>>>
>>>>>You're also not reading all of my posts - but since you've made an accusation without reading or fully comprehending what I've said (this reminds me of the individual who called my views "abhorrent" and "immoral"), I actually don't normally go to them, I just enjoy making jokes about them.

>>>>>The only time I've been to one in the last 15 years was in June, when my wife's youngest brother turned 21 and wanted to go to one. I'm the only male adult in his life, so I took him. I gave him a few hundred bucks, then sat at the bar and ate a ton of pretzels and switched between Guinness and soda and watched ESPN the entire time. When approached for some "private dances", I told the girls I was only there for my brother-in-law and then showed them pictures of K2.

>>>
>>>Am I understanding you correctly that you consider all adult clubs where stripping is done as 'prostitution' and morally reprehensible?
>>
>>Yes. Lets face it people who work in those clubs are making a choice but it is constrained by their education, need for money etc They are the thin end of an exploitation wedge.
>
>Do you want to prohibit those clubs? Don't you think that they (and prostitutes) have a social place in society?

Thats a no on both counts Peter. I'd rather live in a society where there was no need for those clubs and prostitutes but I don't think outlawing them would have any effect any more than our current anti prostitution legislation has removed prostitution.
