I'd say his statement back in 2006 is true today:
“America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership.” As many of us are database professionals of one type or another, we are all familiar with the common analytic practice of "plan versus actual"
I'd say the contrast of the two with respect to Obama is quite substantial, especially considering he hasn't been in office that long.
It's a common situation with new politicians with too many good ideas - or in Obama's case, none at all. <s>
There's a growing list of items he ripped Bush for, and yet carries on with the very things he previously ripped.
It is also proof that he won the election far more because of American frustration with Bush and because of his personal "appeal", than based on his own merit.
