Actually I hate to be a party pooper but there might be some problems you
will face in the migration from 5 to 6. (I have, in fact, experienced these on all 3 projects we converted)

For Instance:

1> Forms you created with Custom Properties will have those properties
filled with "I dont know where they came from" values.
2> More Installation Diskettes needed (Usually a small amount here)

Thats it for now... Other that the fact that we have NEVER gotten a
Visual 6.0 Application to install onto a Windows 98 machine, I have
to post that question now..

Good Luck

>>>Hi: I am planning to convert my applications from VFP 5.0 to VFP 6.0. Can anyone give me headup probelms that I might face when I am doing this convertion?

>>Open the project in 6.0. Your menus will be converted. You might have some problems with newer versions of ActiveX controls, but just delete the one and put the new one in. Other than that, it's pretty clean.

>>ADO recordsets *CAN* be bound directly to VFP controls....except for grids. You'll need to convert to VFP Cursor for that.
