Seriously, there are other forms of prostitution that are equally bad career choices, IOO (our, as a family). Our youngest daughter is picking a college, and being a top student and very good at sciences... well, chemistry is pretty much out, because the choices are to work for a corporation, pharmaceutical giant (notice how the small ones vanish?), or a scientific institution developing this or other kind of poison/weapon, or to teach. Same goes for most of the biology nowadays - not that she likes biology, though. The choice of fields where you don't end up working for a big bad something is rapidly narrowing. Even psychology is mostly sold to marketing, or to social engineering of this or other kind. Tough choices.
