>Actually, I do get the most work done without using the mouse in VFP 5.0a. The only example I'd have to exclude from that is ever so boring Report designer. But forms, classes...no problem.

In FPD report designer you could TAB from one object to another. No way now - you either have to pick them by the mouse, or to move to the PEM window, which has weird keyboard shortcuts, most of which are counter-intuitive, and depend on the part of the window which has the focus. ESC doesn't close the PEM window; closing it and the form with twice ctrl+w most often closes the PEM window and leaves you with a funny looking character in the command window.

Enter gets you into code,

Yes, only if you're on the line in the PEM window where it's mentioned.

alt+r switches methods/events, alt+b switches objects,

Sure, it works when you're already in the method code window, but then incremental search works only downwards.

Hey, I've got used to the mouse (after ten years of having one), but still it's a bore to wave your hand so much.
