Sorry. Didn't completely read you're message. What I meant to say was that the other timer shouldn't just put VFP to sleep it should be disabled until the first timer enables it.

I'm assuming that you want this to happen in the background with no interuption to any other processing that might be going on. The second timer wouldn't suspend anything, it would just force the two second wait you're looking for.
