Yes, libertarians...heck, any pragmatic independant, bases opinions on fact. The fact is that this organization was tested and found corrupt and willfully recommending subverting tax codes and whatnot. And, Mike, as to my intelligence I'm too smart not to know a systemic problem when I see it. ACORN is under investigation for fraud in over a dozen states and now this stuff happens and you have the unmitigated gall to claim it's a few bad employees?

Well, then, one could claim the SS was a worthy organization except for those pesky einsatzgruppen guys, You know, the ones not sanctioned?

And, AND, I'm the one drinking Kool-Aid??? You are willing to dismiss an episode which fundamentally could undermine our principles on a passing whim that it was just a few bad apples??

Sigh. I don't know why I bother. Wait, yes I do. Because you and your fellow left-wingers and our right-winger friends all have blinders on. When it comes to your side you are blind to the problems. Or make lame excuses. I'm an American and that means I don't have to agree with you but it also means that I'm not a toady to a party and I don't make excuses for un-American behavior. Which is what you are doing.

>John, you're a good guy, but we honestly disagree. A few bad apples don't prove anything. I know you are too smart to pick up this particular cup of Kool Aid and drink it. Libertarians decide based on the facts, don't they?

>>Unbelievable.

>>If ACORN and it's employees were above board then "entrapment" would never had occurred. I don't care who sets up the scenario, if you abet illegal activity then you have broken the law. PERIOD. Your excuses are BS in the face of how ACORN employees reacted to the scenario.

>>>Not defending the two women in ACORN's Baltimore office, but the recorders and disseminators of the video don't have a lot of credibility, either. They had tried the same scam at several other ACORN offices previously and were rebuffed. They misrepresented who they were, which is affiliated with conservative action groups. Again, not defending the Baltimore employees (volunteers?) who fell for it, but this is a clear case of trying to entrap people until you hit pay dirt.

>>>PS -- But it is nice to see a sex scandal that doesn't involve Republican politicians! ;-)
