Did anyone catch the big meltdown in the Women's U.S. semis on Saturday?

Williams dropped the first set to Kim Clijsters (who has been playing awesome tennis). During the first set, Williams slammed her racquet in anger and broken it, and that cost her a warning.....the next unsportsmanlike move would cost her a point.

Well, her 2nd one came at the worst time for Williams....Williams was serving at 5-6 and 15-30....her first serve was a fault, and then on her 2nd serve, she was called for a foot-fault. While that's a horrible time for what might seem like a ticky-tacky call, replay showed the call was correct. So that made it 15-40 and double match point for Clijsters.

Well, Serena went into a meltdown, walked towards the line judge who made the call, and screamed "I swear to God I'm [expletive] going to take this [expletive] ball and shove it down your [expletive] throat, you hear that? I swear to God." (Not that it matters, but I believe the line judge was a rather short female).

Williams was called for her 2nd code violation (or whatever they call it), which cost her the point. Match over.

Clijsters was clearly the better player today, and in all likelihood would have won the match anyway. Clijsters did not "want" the point to be awarded, but obviously that's not her call.

I've been watching tennis since 1975 and have seen footage of player meltdowns before then - and I do a great impression of McEnroe after a few beers....but I've never ever seen a meltdown like this. I'm neutral towards the Williams' sisters, but I hope she gets a stiff fine for this.
