I have a form with a 13 page pageframe. On page 3 of the pageframe is a 5 page pageframe. On page 1 of that pageframe is a grid. When the activate fires for page 1 of this nested pageframe I setfocus to the grid.

The problem is navigating through these pageframes. If a go to page 3 of the top pageframe, page 1 (of 5) appears with focus in the grid. If I attempt to return to page 1 of the top pageframe everything is fine. However, if before returning to page 1 of the top pageframe, I go to another page on the nested pageframe, then back to page 1 of the nested pageframe, I can't return to page 1 of the top pageframe without clicking on the page tab twice. The first click takes focus from the grid but stays on the page. The second click actually activates page 1 of the top pageframe.

I've tried using the debugger but switching between it and my form seems to make the problem disappear. I've also tried using the event logging but just come away confused because either don't have a good understanding of the event firing sequences or how the debugger is recording these events.

This pageframe/grid behavior is happening in two different projects with different forms so it appears I'm missing something fundamental.
