I thought of John Paul Getty when I saw you mentioning hostage. You remember this billionaire? Someone of his family was kidnapped. He never paid the ramson. The member of his family was released. I think that he had an ear cut but perhaps that by not paying J.P. Getty saved his life.

But I'd say Getty is a totally different story.

Perhaps Obama's lack of experience is showing. To me Bush's lack of experience was also showing. When the WTC thing happened the look on his face was really something to see.

So I'd say that when you become president nothing you did before really prepared you for this. At least not entirely. Probably one of the toughest job on earth.

So to end this reply... To negotiate or to not negotiate... that is the question
