Hi all, I have a very strange one here. Having used ww controls in the past, and typically no problems, we have an app that is trying to simple posting to a web service location. Specifics are simple...

someDomain.com/submit?SomeFileName.txt and the actual file is added via AddPostKey.

Here's the problem.
On my development machine, both run-time OR within VFP IDE, always works no problem.

On another notebook in our office, run the app, and it SOMETIMEs works, and when it does not, it at least tells us that it timed out.

On yet another machine, it immediately comes back and fails -- EVERY TIME.

So, I did some dissecting of Rick's code, I stripped it down to the stand-alone API calls and the respective strings for the post headers and buffers. So, now, no extra overhead of a bunch of "other" stuff, and then try this short utility. I get the exact same results on my machine and the third machine. The second machine more frequently goes through, other times a proper timeout.

We are all obviously within the same network, security, firewalls, but totally stumped when all OTHER web stuff works... Banking, Google, UT, MS, Email, Amazon, Ebay, etc...

TIA
