In case of any misunderstanding: I'm not talking about you. Clearly you hadn't just listened to Rush and decided spontaneously that Obama is a closet Nazi, but nor did you turn up to insult your Representative or Head of State by attending a civilized meeting to disrupt and wave deliberately obnoxious signs at them.

I assume by Rush you mean Rush Limbaugh. In any case, I can't stand Limbaugh. I put him in the same category as Sarah Palin - buffoons and opportunists struggling to achieve the status of a moron.

But whatever path they have taken to reach their conclusions (and however these protestors have reached their conclusions), they are still on to something - that Obama is anti-American, has race on the mind, and represents the worst threat to individual economic freedoms we've had in decades.

I will give Obama credit - in four years, our children will see how evil the morality of altruism is, when put into practice.

There are so many data points that clearly speak to Obama's hatred of the successful, that clearly speak to his advocacy of collectivism and a larger government.

Here's one: in a commencement speech at Wesleyan University, Obama told graduates not to server their own path to success, but to serve others.

"You can take your diploma, walk off this stage and chase only after the big house and the nice suits and all the other things that our money culture says you should....but I hope you don't."

"Fulfilling your immediate wants and needs betrays a poverty of ambition,"

"Our collective service can shape the destiny of this generation...Individual salvation depends on collective salvation."

His wife is even worse:

"We left corporate America, which is a lot of what we're asking young people to do," Obama's wife, Michelle, told a group of women in Zanesville, Ohio, during the primaries. "Don't go into corporate America. . . . Become teachers. Work for the community. Be social workers. Be a nurse. Those are the careers we need, and we're encouraging people to do just that."

At least Obama is a clever liar. She's just a plain moron. Anyone who follows her advice deserves what they get.

(side note: I'm a teacher and I work for corporate America....I guess I get to go to Michelle Obama and tell her that someone can do BOTH) <s>
