Yes, I thought that might apply. That's why I gave the example using your name to be sure.

Absolutely. I think my approach will work in 90% of the cases, but when it doesn't, the user can change it. This is an example of recognizing that just because we're using computers, the computer doesn't necessarily have to decide everything. Let it make its best guess, then allow the user slap it upside the head if it gets it wrong. :)
