Why in the Menu Designer click on VFP View menu and than General options

If I modify the menu, and then do a "menu/generate" to generate the .mpr file - the stupid stuff is still in there. It's showing up at the top of it in a section called "Setup Code" - which is before "Menu Definition". The $64,000 question of course is how the heck to I remove the junk in the "setup code" section?? I don't see a way to do that with the menu designer.
