Hi everybody,

In the command window with Outlook running I tried

loOutlook = CREATEOBJECT('Outlook.Application')
loOutlook.GetNamespace('MAPI')
?loNameSpace.Logon()

which returned NULL.

I then closed my Outlook session and typed

release loNameSpace

and for a few minutes VFP was not responding.

UPDATE Could not reproduce this error now.

Is there some problem in what I have tried?

Is also a way to trap situations when you can not do loNameSpace.Logon() without causing VFP or Outlook to stop responding?
