I have a Win Vista Home Premium computer at home and a WinXP computer networked. I set the C drive on the Win XP computer to be shared on the networkd so I could copy items to it from the Vista computer. But the connection is incredibly slow. Just opening a folder on the Win XP computer c drive from the Vista computer can take minutes. And I tried to copy a folder with ~10 MB of files in it and after 30 minutes of trying it finally gave up.
I don't know if this is just a config issue or Vista is just a pice of junk (which it is). I used to have two XP computers networkd together on the same network and never had this problem.
Anyone know what the issue(s) could be?
Thanks,
Bill
