That might be the base... I was rather referring to the technical aspects. A server application has a different requirement than a desktop application in that it must run very stable with zero user interaction. Word wasn't designed for this, so you can't rely on it being stable, nor is there any guarantee that some module doesn't bring up a dialog. For instance, I usually have the Office Language packs installed to write texts in various languages. When the Asian packs are installed, sometimes Word treats an English RTF document as Korean and prompts to convert it. This depends on the input file, so will be hard to find during your testing phase.
