i do not like to see the textbox cursor (is it an Ibeam, do not know) if a field is readonly and cannot take focus (when event return .f.). i think it is more friendly to let the client know that they can not type or click into the field because the cursor is an arrow. so i changed my mousepointer=1 (the arrow), when the field is readonly and can not take focus. what is considered standard for the mousepointer of a readonly, can not take focus textbox?

also, changed my textbox mousepointer to arrow in the grid, and it did not change. column and header do not have a mousepointer property. any ideas?

thanks - brenda
