I see that confusion has arisen here. I didn't ask about CAB but about CAL (Composite Application Library) and AFAIK this and Prism are pretty much joined at the hip.

>Component Application Block and Prism are two different things. You definately want to go with Prism. When Microsoft Patterns & Practices (P&P) built the CAB, people complained it was too complex. So, they made it easier with Prism.
