Norton acts on the pjx itself when opening a table; and might also work on the tmp files created on the local machine whenever a cursor is created (which includes views and buffered tables and transactions). I switched to AVG many years ago for this reason.

>Thanks Victor, This was something we also tried to do with our current product and to our surprise, we told the anti-virus to ignore all the network drives we used and the performance was the same (as if the filter in the software does not do anything).
