You can put the DOEVENTS command in your code to tell VFP to process any waiting events.

>I am trying to periodically write to a program status table (updating a status record from several computers to tell users how the various programs are going, if any are hung, etc). I thought I could make use of a timer object, but it does not fire during code execution. It only fires during wait windows, etc. Any suggestions about how I can accomplish this or get the timer to fire during program execution?
