I have 2 Windows Service solutions which share a business object project. Each has it's own main project file. I test the applications via Class Diagrams using the AAppTest.cs which is in my business object project. Until about a week ago when I checked a bunch of files into Fortress this was working great. Of course I set the business object project as the "Startup Project" in order to test this way. Now in one of the solutions even when I set the business object project as the "Startup Project" I do not get the "Create Instance" option when I right click on AAppTest in the class diagram. In the past I only saw this when I forgot to change the "Startup Project" to be the business object project.

I do recall an error when opening this solution after I checked everything into Fortress where it couldn't open the Class Diagram (it had been open when I last closed the solution) so it just didn't open at that point. I can open it without error now but it just doesn't work right. Did I lose a setting or link someplace? I did try removing the business object project from the solution which is having this issue and then put it back but it made no difference.

I checked the Fortress log and tried checking out any "mysterious" files but it didn't help. I don't have anything special checked out for the other solution and it works fine. I keep looking for files which are in Fortress for the one but not the other but so far have not found anything with seems odd to me.

All of the files in the class diagram live in the business objects project which is shared by the two solutions. It works in one and not the other now.

I tried creating a new class diagram in the problem solution (in the business object project as the other one) by dragging AAppTest to that but it still doesn't work. Since the business object project is shared by the two solutions I checked to see if the new diagram works in the solution where the original class diagram still works and sure enough this one does too. I have compared many files between the 2 solutions but cannot figure out what is wrong.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
