You may think this is a copout. There are lots of smart people in AA. Probably smarter than the general population. Well, I'll just run right out to the local Costco and buy myself a big bucket of extra smarts, and then I'll go get tanked and regularly tell people online about it....and that'll make me part of this little Mensa club....
No, I don't think that's a cop-out - but it IS about the most irrelevant thing I've ever heard..
There are probably killers out there with high IQs, men who have sex with 13/14 year olds who are "very intelligent".....so let me get this right....you're saying that if someone has a problem that many "smart" people have, it's somehow more acceptable than having a problem that is generally associated with being a moron?
