Bitter? No. Don't have time for that and it won't do any good. I was going to the extreme with my statement as an attempt at a little bit of humor. Whether it was actually humorous is debatable, I suppose. <g>
I do think they are [insert your own expletive here, since Michel has been getting strict on even the mildest of epithets] for killing such a great product. There is so much I could say, but I think all of it has been said. In the end, Microsoft gets to do most anything it pleases in this industry.
And that last part is why I will do my best to also avoid M$ technology. I can't at the moment, since that it what my clients are using, but I have one client that wants to drop Microsoft and go to Macs (still proprietary, of course). I'll be talking to more clients/prospects about Linux, but I don't expect things to change quickly.
