Do you have any code in the GotFocus() or LostFocus() events?
If the grid already has focus, does the button still require two clicks?
What happens if you hold down the mouse button a wee bit longer than usual?
Are there any ActiveX controls involved on that form?

Of course if you don't like grids... why are you using them anyway? :wink:

Fiddly is trying to get BROWSE windows to operate consistently with FPD/FPW controls (back when there weren't grid controls) -- especially if you had to resort to using ON KEY events to "kludge" behaviors...
