Interesting that it's in Newsweek - that is very problematic for him. It shows internally in his own party there are grumblings and folks worrying or running amuck for lack of leadership (or at least clear guidance and a firm hand). What is clear is this: it is not going to be 'Obama's healthcare plan.' It is going to be the Democrat party's healthcare bill. They are doing their own thing - that has been clear for some time.

One disagreement with the editorial: there is not one but many healthcare bills out there now. At least 4 or 5 that I have read. I don't think there is a current 'healthcare bill' but rather a bunch of which everyone is trying to get support and then put up for a vote now. It's impossible to keep up with what they want to pass because even internally within their own party there is too much disagreement and too many separate bills. I quit trying until everyone sits down to vote on any specific bill. I'm not sure which one of the many bills Obama is even speaking about when he talks about his healtcare bill(s)...
