I installed two of them and they were more efficient and easier to administer than a Novell Network with DOS workstations.
At one client a single 486 server (really a workstation) with SCO Unix installed handled 40 simultaneous users with WYSE 60's 24/7 without a hiccup
Basically it died (along with Novell and O/S2) when WIN NT Server and Win NT workstation came on the scene.
They were more expensive and slower, but much simpler to administer and the clients wanted the Windows graphics on reports,
which were almost iimpossible to do with that version of Unix.
The good news was that Fox for Unix code, with some tweaking of reports, was almost completely convertible to FPW.
Anyone who does not go overboard- deserves to.
