I used the event logging as suggested and couldn't get any behavior to fire on the container or the button on the first click. Then, after banging my head against the wall for another 30 minutes, finally remembered that I had set AllowCellSelection to .F. on the grid and of course, that is causing the problem!!!! Being this stupid, I'm amazed I can even get on the UT! I hereby submit myself for banishment :)
