From research looks like Thermal Transfers work better for printing barcodes. Does anyone have experience printing to a thermal transfer printer sending in the barcode font and if scanning?

I am using free 3of9 on TPG printers. I have to make sure that the scanner is programed to enable full ascii code 39. You will use the bar codes in the scanner setup book that comes with the scanner.
