No, no, I don't think you'd have to beg. It would only be a good idea if you wanted to get new versions as he's adding features and testing them (and it allows you to give feedback and help direct the development in at least a small way). In any event, look over the docs and play around. It's powerful. One recently added feature was to be able to change the baseclass of a control while it's on the form. Haven't used that, yet.
