If you end up writing this book, you should probably use Foxpro as a representative case study rather than write the whole book about this particular software history. Otherwise it will be of interest only to us Uber Foxpro Geeks here at UT. As a case study in how big software companies make decisions about the life and death of their products and what it means to the people using software -- the good and the bad -- it might have quite a wide appeal.
