I tried that and it works. The MSDN tutorial, however, says that I should be able to add a group by dragging a data field from the data source adand dropping it on the group pane.

Then, any groups should show on the group pane and allow editing.

Neither works. I can't add a group to the group pane by dragging and the groups I add as you suggest don't show there.
