I'm probably using a setup that is different than anyone else, but in an effort to see if anyone has experienced the same behavior, I'll elaborate.
Laptop: Apple Macbook Pro 15" unibody
OS: Snow Leopard
VM Software: Parallels 5 (beta, version 5.0.8898)
Win OS: Windows 7 Ultimate production release installed in Parallels 5 as a virtual machine
With this setup, I am unable to copy and paste any controls on a form. They appear to copy OK, but when I attempt to paste using CTRL-V - nada. If I right-click, the "paste" option is disabled. If I try to use the "paste" option from the Edit menu, it's disabled.
I know it is copying ok, because if I use CTRL-X (cut), the controls are cut from the form, but still no paste.
I've posted this on the Parallels 5 beta forum, but no replies yet.
Incidentally, I also have a virtual machine created for Vista Ultimate in Parallels 5 and it works properly. I have reverted to using the Vista VM until I find a fix for Windows 7 in Parallels 5. I originally switched to Win7 because it was so much faster than Vista.
