What I was getting at is engines that are case insensitive 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week, no options. Sergey pointed out that SQL Server is case insensitive using its default installation options, but you can make it case sensitive. So if you need it, you can have it. I was thinking you meant something that was case insensitive and if you want something else, tough! Do you know of any like that? Obviously, with data you have to have case sensitivity at times. Again, this was a different issue than what we were originally discussing and I think we both agree that you have to have case sensitivity in regards to data (maybe not always, but a portion of the data, at least).
