>Grady, you're 'kin' obsessed with this swine flu. What are you, trying to depress us all?
I already feel as depressed as a commandbutton.
Except that I think I'd rather take my chances with the flu than with the vaccine. I just eat a lot of raw onion the evening I feel like I may have some symptoms the next day, and the viruses go out to puke and don't come back. I can eat onions like apples.
...for which there's a trick, the same as for the hot peppers: they burn your mouth when the capsaicin oxydates, so if you eat them without ventilation (i.e. breathe strictly through your nose - or someone else's, if you can :), the irritation is only minor. The worst thing you can do is to rapidly suck air - it only speeds it up. Though, I use that trick sparingly when I'm about to prevent a flu - I want to sweat it out then.
