Christof Wollenhaupt is world renowned as a Fox Pro Expert. We are lucky to have him at our October meeting. He will present his Southwest Fox session entitled Excelporting.
We all know that the only place to keep data is a database. Surprisingly, 150% of our customers firmly believe that data has to be stored in Excel sheets. Ever since Excel XP (Excel 2000 with downloadable plugins) Excel supports XML files in XMLSS (XML Spreadsheet) format. That's almost a decade now!
We cover how you can create this simple text based format, which features are available and which aren't, and how you can let your client do most of the work of creating Excel sheets. There will be a bonus session, time permitting.
