I am now doing a saveas right after opening the doc. That avoids changes since I delete the temp doc at the end.

but back to the highlighting. It creates a markup like cross out all thos words. It even puts a vertical line in the left margin.
I would like to set the background color just like it's highlightes with a color felt pen
