Using your own PC is not an option for many. My service agreement with Comcast states that I can't run a server that is exposed outside my home.

>You have your own website on your own computer and it's free. I've been using it for a couple years and my site has always been accessible (as long as my computer is turned on). I've built "test" websites for potential clients and am able to demo them at the customer location on their computer/browser. My future replacement also used it to set up an ftp site that makes it convenient to transfer files back and forth to each other.
