You meant bytehead? Gears are mechanics...

...which brings me back to my old rant against those who are so opposed to the technology influencing the language, if it's a technology they dislike, or don't feel comfortable with. Most of them, however, don't even notice the technological expressions all over their own language, which they sail with, full steam ahead, right on track, with all the bells and whistles... as if sails, steam engine, tracks, bells and whistles aren't technology.
