But we have a dialect that uses shifted vocals (we speak german o for a, u for o [so I had not to much problem with the dutch oe concept ::)] e for ei) and do other funny things with the language. This is superimposed by the saxon style of weakend consonants (no clear distinction between b and p, g an k, d and t). Hard times in school
My parents uses High German by default, but at the playground or on the nursery school the dialect was mandatory. So, unintended by my parents, I grow up multilingual.
