For string handling there is .Net libraries:) .Net string handling is much richer than VFP's.
IMHO, one should use that toolkit only in his/her learning phase of .Net to get ideas on how something could be done (with .Net 1.x). The functions do not 1-to1 map (well I should be lying saying functions - the few ones I checked, particularly those in string functions group) as how they work in VFP. Non-VFPers would never use them I think (and VFPers I doubt).
