I know exactly what you mean. I just kind of thought he might have come up with something a little more meaningful (at least from his supposed perspective) than "it's normal". Even if it is normal, there still should be a reason. Baseball trades are normal too, but no manager trades a player without having a reason beyond "it's normal".
