I would like to have autocomplete functionality in a datagridview. That property is not available for textbox columns. I would prefer not to use a combo box because the datagridviewcomboboxcolumn does not allow the entry of values not in the combo box item collection. Also, most of the time the user will have a free text entry. There are only a few cases in which I would like to make sure that the value entered is spelled exactly the same as a lookup table entry. Has anyone come up with something like this? Thanks.
