AdBlock is abandonware, but AdBlockPlus took where it left off. Sometimes I load a page in an IE tab just to see what the masses see, and usually can't take more than one such view a month :).
NoScript is maybe annoying at times, when buying stuff at places which I didn't visit before and then a button doesn't work, but that's today's world, one just has to keep lists of places to trust and places not to. As Steven Black once said, "googleanalytics doesn't know I exist".
