So just use AS and FROM in the create classlib line. The keyboard will get rid of the CD just the same. Perhaps if you want no flickering CD you might try setting _screen.LockScreen = .t. or _screen.Visible = .f.

>I'm not trying to create a subclass of the base classes. This is an existing class library that I need to subclass off of. I guess I'll have to live with the ClassDesigner popping up. Thanks for the KEYBOARD idea, though.
