It would be interesting to know how their strategy of how they are going to accomplish this - the localization of globals or what. :)

Hopefully, we will get a trimmed down runtime for COM.

Also, it would be nice to have a "relatively-legacy-free" runtime for EXEs. Still can't figure out why properties like ZoomBox still exist - thought that VFP no longer supports the MAC.

With a small runtime, Microsoft could (theoretically) ship the VFP runtime with the operating system. Ha, if they did that then I would take back all the nasty things I've said about them.
