I bet this is covered in Sara Ford's book ;-)

Here is an incredibly useful small tip I picked up flipping through it the other day -- Ctrl-L cuts the current line, regardless of where the cursor is. IIRC, many of the tips on her blog and in the book came directly from members of the VS dev team.
